Thunder Fall To Hornets In Preseason 117-115

Jaylin Williams and Tre Mann led the way for Oklahoma City on Sunday in a preseason game that saw the Thunder come up just short against the Charlotte Hornets.

The Hornets prevailed 117-115 as the starters played a majority of the game against the Thunder backups.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, Chet Holmgren, Lu Dort, Jalen Williams and Isaiah Joe were all out for the game.

Williams and Mann had 18 points, Aaron Wiggins had 16 and former Cowboy Lindy Water III dropped 10 off the bench.

Charlotte's PJ Washington missed only five shots on the way to a 31-point game. Hornet's star LaMelo Ball played for 23 minutes and had 16-6-6.

The Thunder travel home to face the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 8 p.m.
