Drivers Cited For Inattentive Driving After I-40 Crash

A reported roll-over crash is causing a traffic back-up in both eastbound and westbound lanes of Interstate 40.

The crash happened between Westminster Road and Anderson Road.

The driver of the semi-truck did not notice that traffic was stopped ahead of them, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, and swerved into the concrete barrier to the left. A pickup truck then crashed into the semi, OHP said. There were only minor injuries, OHP said. Both drivers were cited for inattentive driving.

According to News 9's reporters, the eastbound lanes were completely blocked and the westbound lanes were congested.
