OKC Thunder Announces Military Ticket Giveaway

In honor of Veterans Day, the Oklahoma City Thunder announced that 500 Oklahoma military heroes will receive two complimentary tickets to its Military Appreciation Celebration game, Wednesday, November 8.

Family and friends of current and former military members who live in Oklahoma can nominate by sharing why the military member in their life is a hero. The Thunder will distribute tickets to the first 500 Veterans or active/reserve military members who are nominated for the giveaway. 

“We are honored and privileged to live in a state where our active and retired military are an irreplaceable part of the fabric of our community,” said Natasha Stamper, vice president of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. “It’s truly our honor to celebrate their sacrifice, contributions, and service.”  

To submit a nomination, visit okcthunder.com/heroes. The deadline for nominations is Friday, Nov. 3 and those who submit a nomination will receive a coupon for a free combo meal from Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers.
