Two men were arrested Sunday, accused of breaking into cars in a Yukon neighborhood.
A resident in Yukon's Parkland II neighborhood called police after seeing two men checking car doors in the early hours of October 15th.
That's when an officer responded to the call and caught the suspects in the act.
Surveillance cameras show the men going driveway to driveway seeing whose car doors were unlocked.
Yukon Police said after the two were arrested, officers found the suspects backpacks with stolen items like money, valuables, and license plates.
The Yukon Police Department wants to remind its residents to keep doors locked, garages closed, and remove all valuables from our cars.
“We get busy in life, and we tend to forget to do those things but if you do it yourself and remind your neighbors then we can promote a safer community,” said Deputy Chief John Brown.
Yukon Police believe there are more victims and are asking the public to check any surveillance footage of the suspects then turn it in to the department.
If you are a victim, officers ask that you please file a police report.
