Description
Sassy Mama shares her recipe for easier-to-eat candy apples, perfect for your fall festivities.
Ingredients
- Honey Crisp/Granny Smith Apples
- Pointed skewers
- Dipping chocolate and/or caramel
- Toppings of choice: M&M's, nuts, chocolate chips, candy pieces, etc.
- Baking sheet & parchment paper/tinfoil
Instructions
- 1: Cut off small amounts of the sides of the apple, so that the apple slice will lay flat.

- 3: Add one pointed skewer per slice, to use as the stick of the candle apple.
- 4: Dip slices by holding onto the stick, into desired dip (caramel or chocolate)
- 5: Place candy apples onto a baking sheet with tin foil or parchment paper.
- 6: Add desired toppings, sprinkle them onto the candy apples.
- 7: Put the baking sheet of completed candy apples into the fridge for 15-20 minutes.
- 8: Enjoy!
