1 Dead After Crash On I-35 Near Edmond

One person has died after a crash on Interstate 35 in Edmond, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The northbound lanes of I-35 between Coffee Creek Road and Covell Road in Edmond were closed for more than 3 hours Thursday morning due to a crash.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a semi-truck crossed through cable barriers onto the other side of traffic.

The crash is still under investigation.
