Oklahoma City Restaurant 'Moni's Pasta And Pizza' Closes Its Doors

Moni's Pasta and Pizza closed its doors over the weekend. The owners posted a message to the community on their website thanking them for their years of support and feedback.

An Italian restaurant in north Oklahoma City closed its doors over the weekend.

Moni's Pasta and Pizza updated their website with a message saying the shop along May near Northwest 178th went out of business Friday.

The closure comes after co-owner and chef Rachel Foster beat the odds to return to the kitchen. She was badly hurt in a scooter crash last year. At one point, Rachel was in a coma but not only did she recover, she ran in the the Boston Marathon.

The Fosters did not give a reason for the closure.
