Suspect Arrested After Shooting In NE OKC

A woman was arrested in connection to a shooting that occurred on Friday in NE OKC. One victim was shot and injured and later revealed the alleged shooter was his ex-girlfriend.

Police arrested a 23-year-old woman in connection to a shooting in northeast OKC Friday.

Police were called to a convenience store at Northeast 23rd Street and North Lottie Avenue Friday afternoon. The victim told police his ex-girlfriend Briana Beller shot him several times. The man was injured in his left leg and taken to a local hospital.

Investigators caught up with Beller later in the day. Police say she confessed to shooting her ex-boyfriend but did not realize she injured him. Beller was arrested and booked into jail.

The driver of the car Beller was in was also taken into custody and later admitted he drove away while Beller was shooting.

Witnesses told investigators they saw her shoot the victim from the backseat of a car.

The victim told police he broke up with Beller last week.

This was the first reported shooting on North Lottie on Friday, 3 hours before the second Friday night.
