OKC Thunder Play Atlanta Hawks Monday Night

The last two home games for the Thunder have been close. And Atlanta, led by Norman Native Trae Young comes in on a 4-game winning streak. 

The Hawks are on their 3rd different Head Coach since Thunder Head Coach Mark Daigneault took over for Billy Donovan back in 2020. 

OKC's rising Head Coach, finished 2nd for Coach of the Year honors last season. Some National NBA Experts believe he will win NBA Coach of the Year this Season. He has a knack for relating to players, getting his point across, and getting the most out of his players. You can see that on the court. The players love his approach.

The Thunder is currently 3 and 3 heading into tonight, could easily be 5 and one, and losing close ones to New Orleans and Golden State. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander didn't play in the loss to the Warriors. There's a chance his knee is feeling better and will be ready to play tonight.
