'Lessons From An Angel' Author Discusses The Importance Of Friendship

Author Shalicia Torbert visited the News 9 studio to talk about her book, Lessons From An Angel.

The book chronicles the keys to healthy friendships and lessons she learned from her best friend, Angel, who passed away in 2020.

Angel was stationed at Fort Sill in Oklahoma when she was killed by another soldier she was dating. Torbert says she hopes to share Angel's story and teach people about domestic violence.
