The home of the state's Rennaissance Festival has decked its halls for the holidays.
Some people call Castle Christmas in Muskogee the North Pole of Oklahoma.
"It is just a fun, family event to come and hang out with the family, enjoy some time together, and spread a little Christmas cheer," said Vice President Matt Hiller.
An evening at Castle Christmas starts with a mile-long drive through its unique holiday light display.
"We decorate the Rennaissance Village with lights and decorations and a lot of inflatables," said Hiller.
Cars are welcome, but for those who want a different perspective, there are also hayrides and rides on the Castle Train. Both take guests on a separate route through the Village.
It all leads back to the Castle, where guests are invited inside for more festive cheer.
"Come in and just have some hot chocolate, cookies, and maybe get a meal at Rudolph's Cafe," said Hiller.
There is even an ornament-making station, something Hiller said has become a tradition for many families. He added, "The kids come back every year, they make a new ornament, and look back over the years that they have created ornaments here at the Castle."
Those memory-making moments are what matters most to the owners and why Castle Christmas is donation-based.
"We started this as just kind of like a giveback to the community," Hiller continued saying, "We collect a lot of change from people's ashtrays, they are dumping their change in, but it has always been a donation, and that is never going to change."
There are some activities that cost, like the pony, camel, and train rides, which are $10 each. The Castle Holiday Hayride is $5 per person. People can also rent an igloo at $50 for two hours.
Castle Christmas is open nightly starting at 5:30 p.m. through New Year's Eve.
