A Tulsa firefighter has died following a long battle with a rare form of soft tissue cancer.
Harrison Moseby was diagnosed with cancer in 2022. The Tulsa Fire Chief said Moseby, "demonstrated bravery, strength, and unwavering faith during his long battle with cancer."

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Firefighter Harrison Moseby. He has finished his race and has gone home.
“The Tulsa Fire Department is mourning the loss of Firefighter Harrison Moseby who has demonstrated bravery, strength, and unwavering faith during his long battle with cancer.
Harrison exemplifies the never quit determination within all Tulsa Firefighters and he will remain with us forever.
I am personally a better person from my time with Harrison on the TFD. He taught me to live fully each and every day despite the circumstances. He is a true hero.” Tulsa Fire Chief Michael Baker
This is the only statement that the department will be releasing at this time. We ask that the public and media respect the Moseby family and their Tulsa Fire Department family while they navigate this difficult time.
