Person In Custody After Shooting In Muskogee Leaves Man Hospitalized

A suspect is in custody and a man is hospitalized following a shooting in Muskogee on Wednesday, police say.

Muskogee Police said officers responded to a home near 900 West Okmulgee Street in reference to the shooting around 3:20 p.m.

Police said that officers on the scene found a man with a gunshot wound and he was taken to the hospital.

The suspect stayed at the scene and was taken to the police station for questioning.

The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
