A group pushing for reparations in connection with the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre recently provided a report to the city.
The group called Beyond Apology held a meeting on Thursday to go over the results of its report.
They presented it to Mayor GT Bynum and the City Council last week.
"The findings from the report found eight main themes, the ones that had the most broad support about where to start were financial compensation, were community and economic development and investment in housing and home ownership. Those were sorta the big three," said Beyone Apology project manager Greg Robinson.
Robinson said the area that has the most support is investing in education.
They said the city has been willing to work with them.
