The Chiefs and 49ers will compete in the Super Bowl on CBS on February 11.
One local doctor got a chance to attend the opening night and speak at the 2024 Super Bowl Symposium.
Doctor Jabraan Pasha who was one of eight speakers at this year's healthcare leaders and alumni discussion.
Dr. Pasha is the medical director at Juno Medical located on Greenwood where they serve everyone, with a focus on communities of color.
Dr. Pasha was invited to attend the Las Vegas NFL Alumni Chapter and NFL Alumni Health Symposium after networking with a friend.
This event is held every year during opening week and is a discussion with leaders in healthcare and NFL alumni.
Dr. Pasha also got to meet some of the biggest names in the league.
“So I went up on Monday. I made it in time to go to the Super Bowl opening night and got to watch the Chiefs go on the field. I got to see Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. (It's) really a lifelong dream for me to be able to pair that with my passion, which is health equity, just really made for a special trip," Dr. Pasha said.
He believes this was another way of putting Tulsa on the map as Juno is the first healthcare facility on Greenwood in 50 years.
