An Oklahoma National Guardsman got to give his kids a great surprise when he came home from a deployment.
Staff Sgt. Garrett Potts spent nine months deployed to Africa.
This week, he came back home to Silo in Bryant County.
He surprised his 10-year-old daughter Kaydance and 6-year-old son Brantly at school.
He surprised his daughter first, then students lined the hallways as he went to his son's classroom to surprise him.
Brantley's teacher was telling the class about hero dads when Staff Sgt. Potts came in.
His daughter says the first thing she wants to do together is go fishing.
