Man Taken To Hospital After Approaching OHP Trooper With Gunshot Wound

A traffic stop in Oklahoma City resulted in an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper assisting a gunshot victim Wednesday evening.

According to OHP, a trooper had initiated a traffic stop near Southeast Grand Boulevard and South Shields Boulevard when a man, who was uninvolved in the stop, approached the trooper.

Oklahoma City Police ended up responding to the call, and said the man had an injury identified as a gunshot wound.

First responders took the victim to the hospital, although their condition is unknown this morning.
