Unruly Passenger Leads To Emergency Plane Landing In Oklahoma City

An unruly passenger caused an emergency landing in Oklahoma City at Will Rogers World Airport on Thursday.

American Airlines said the plane took off from Atlanta and was headed to Phoenix when it was forced to stop in OKC.

Law enforcement met the aircraft upon arrival

American Airlines released a statement saying, 

"We thank our team for their professionalism and apologize to the customers for the inconvenience."

They did not release the name of the passenger, which caused the diversion.
