The Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a disturbance at the Attorney General’s Office Tuesday afternoon.

A disturbance occurred just before 1 p.m. prompting a response from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

It’s still unclear if this disturbance took place inside the building or outside in the parking lot, as authorities release little information.

News 9's Deanne Stein was on scene, and saw investigators focused on one white car, collecting evidence, and taking photographs inside the car, and inside the trunk.

Stein saw officers that handcuffed and detained at least three young men.

According to the Oklahoma Attorney General's office, the building was never evacuated.

The AG’s office also confirmed that this disturbance did not involve any of its personnel and that everyone was safe.

“There has been an active law enforcement operation not involving any Attorney General personnel. Everyone is safe and the building is secure,” Attorney General Gentner Drummond said in a Facebook post.
