Southwest Airlines Ending Services At Select Airports Due To Boeing Plane Shortage

Due to a shortage of planes delivered by aerospace manufacturer Boeing, Southwest Airlines will be ending services at certain airports in North America, the company said.

Southwest Airlines will ending services at certain airports due to Boeing aircraft delivery delays, the company said.

Beginning on Aug. 4,, Southwest will no longer fly out of George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston along with Bellingham International Airport ion Washington State, Syracuse Hancock International Airport in New York and Cozumel International Airport in Mexico.

Southwest said the company is only set to receive just 20 of the 46 Boeing plans it ordered this earlier this year.
