The 3-year-old boy who went missing on his family's land in Pottawatomie County on Thursday has been located safely, according to the Pottawatomie County Sheriff.
They said the Tribby Fire Department located the boy in an area near the residence; medical personnel checked him out and he appeared to be uninjured.
On Friday morning, OHP activated a missing and endangered alert on behalf of the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office for Walker Mangus. He was last seen at around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday walking his dog one mile west of the town of Tribbey.
Pottawatomie County Undersheriff Travis Dinwiddie said his office had been searching since Mangus was declared missing in the heavily wooded area surrounding the family's home.
