Police Officer Shoots, Kills Armed Man In NW Oklahoma City

A police officer fatally shot an armed man after responding to a call in NW Oklahoma City.

This is the second officer-involved shooting in Oklahoma City on Sunday.

Oklahoma City Police said officers responded to a home near West Hefner Road and Condor Terrace just after 8 p.m. for a domestic call.

Outside the home, police said responding officers made contact with an armed male suspect who was shot and killed by police.

Police said only one officer fired their weapon and they have since been placed on administrative leave.

Police are still conducting interviews with witnesses at the scene.

It's unclear how many people were at the home during the disturbance, police say. There were no other injuries reported.
