Driver Arrested After Person Fatally Struck By Vehicle In Western Oklahoma City

One person has been arrested after a person was fatally struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning in western Oklahoma City, police say.

Oklahoma City Police said they responded to the scene around 3 a.m. near West Main Street and North Blackwelder Avenue, where they found the victim dead.

OCPD said Ruben Perez was speeding and driving on the wrong side of the road when he hit the victim.

Perez is now being held on complaints of DUI and manslaughter.
