The Oklahoma City Thunder will be back in action Thursday night for Game Two against the Dallas Mavericks after their Game One win earlier this week.
On Tuesday, the Thunder came out on top over Dallas 117-95, and look to extend their undefeated NBA playoff streak to six wins on Thursday.
Oklahoma City's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Dallas' Luka Dončić were both in the running for the league's Most Valuable Player, but both lost out Wednesday night after the Denver Nugget's Nikola Jokić won his third MVP in four seasons.
Thunder fans, teammates and even four-time NBA Champion Shaquille O'Neal all spoke out following the perceived snub.
"Based on everybody's criteria, number one seed, which team has the better record, I felt Shai deserved it," O'Neal said.
Tipoff for Thursday night's game is set for 8:30 p.m. at the Paycom Center, but prior to the game, Thunder Up In The Park begins at 5 p.m. in Scissortail park across the street.
