Goodwill has started a new initiative, the “GenG” Board, in an attempt to guide young adults and advance Goodwill’s mission.

“GenG,” also called Generation Good, is for professionals from 22-years-old to 40-years-old to serve in their communities.

VP of Community Engagement Melissa Richey joined News 9 to discuss their new program.

“It’s really an opportunity for our young professionals to get all the tools in their toolbox before joining a governing board,” Richey said. “We want to provide these young leaders with an opportunity to learn all of those things before they then go on to that next step in their career journey.”
