Okfuskee Co. Man Charged Following Involvement In Jan. 6 US Capitol Riot

An Oklahoma man has been charged after court documents show he and his wife followed a group of protestors into the US Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

Federal prosecutors have charged an Oklahoma man in connection to the Jan. 6th riot at the U.S. Capitol in 2021.

According to an FBI agent in Oklahoma City, Matthew Allen from Okfuskee County was seen in videos and pictures going inside the capitol on the day of the riot.

Court documents say Allen admitted he and his wife traveled to Washington D.C. to listen to former President Donald Trump's speech before following a crowd of protestors into the Capitol building.
