Woman's Home 'Leveled' By Tornado Seen In Daylight Friday

News 9 storm tracker Tom Pastrano found a woman who had lost her home from a tornado while tracking storms on Thursday. News 9’s David Payne talked to Tammy Deyo who lives south of Duke on Highway 34.

“We went into our shelter and came out, and we lost everything,” Deyo said. “Everything is leveled, just completely leveled.”

She said she and her family made it through without injuries and that they were going to a hotel for the night.

This tornado that ripped through Tammy's home, was confirmed to have traveled over 15 miles, according to News 9 meteorologists.

"We're ok, we are not injured in any way. Praise the lord," Tammy said.
