New video footage shows Oklahoma City Police confronting an armed man at a home in the 7400 block of Northwest 106th Street on May 5, shortly before 8 p.m.

OCPD said officers were dispatched to the home for reports of a domestic disturbance. But, a caller later told dispatchers the man was shooting a gun.

In a portion of the video, a man who police identified as Kenneth Allsen, is seen firing a rifle while standing in a driveway.

Moments later, a police officer approached the home. "When the officers arrived, they did come in contact with an armed individual outside the home," said Capt. Valerie Littlejohn with the Oklahoma City Police Department.

The responding officer, who is a lieutenant in the department with 10 years of service, can be heard saying, "Turn around, drop to your knees. Drop to your knees."

But, that officer was not wearing a body-camera which is standard policy for lieutenants in the department.

However, a second officer who responded shortly after was wearing a body camera.

"This is the suspect right here?" The officer can be heard asking. "Yeah."

"Hey! Do not reach for —" the lieutenant shouts at Allsen before shooting him.

According to court records, officers recovered several rounds of ammo and three guns.

Police say two of those guns were found on Allsen's body.
