A man has been arrested and charged with stalking after following a family from Texas to Blanchard, according to the McClain County Sheriff's Office.
Michael Young allegedly pursued the vehicle, with a man, woman and two young children inside, thinking his wife was a passenger, according to the sheriff's office.
The family realized they were being followed and exited Interstate 35 in McClain County, according to the sheriff's office.
Young then "aggressively pursued the family at high rates of speed, swerving into oncoming traffic, cutting the family off, and ramming the family's vehicle then shooting at the family as they drove into the Blanchard area," the McClain County Sheriff's Office said in a post. The family was unharmed.
Young was arrested and charged with eight counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, use of vehicle in the discharge of a weapon, use of firearm while committing a felony, stalking, and carry or possessing a firearm by a convicted felon.
