Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt is forced to go back to the drawing board after the Oklahoma Senate reportedly did not hear from his nomination for executive director of the Department of Commerce.
Heather Turner, the CEO of the Jenks Chamber of Commerce, was selected to fill that role in April, but earlier this week, members of the Senate said they had concerns about Turner's nomination.

This makes almost two years without a permanent leader for the department.
