Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt Joins The News 9 Weather Team

Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt joined the News 9 team to talk about the Women's College World Series and the current state of Oklahoma City, but ending up helping out with News 9's forecast Thursday morning.

With help from News 9 Meteorologist Lacey Swope, Holt kept an eye on the weather across the state.

After getting the camera adjusted to the proper height for Mayor Holt, he began to examine today's forecast.

"You can see here we have some systems firing here in Western Oklahoma," Holt said.

Holt started to assess the wind for the day, including wind speeds and wind gust.

Throughout the forecast, Holt connected the weather to the previous topic of women's softball jokingly saying, "Well, softball coaches and umpires (should) plan accordingly."
