The Oklahoma City Council will meet on Tuesday to consider the next step toward building a new arena Downtown to replace the Paycom Center.

An agenda filed on Friday shows the councilors will vote on whether to formally terminate the agreement with Prairie Surf Studios.

It's currently inside the former Cox Convention Center. Last week, the council approved an agreement with the owners of the OKC Thunder.

That includes building the arena on the old convention center site.

The new arena is on the path for target completion in June 2028.
