Heartland Flyer Celebrating 25th Anniversary

Bryce Boyer with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation joined News 9 to talk about the upcoming 25th anniversary of the Heartland Flyer.

The celebration will be on Friday, June 14 starting at 8 a.m. The train will depart at 8:25 a.m.

The discount is good for trips between June 13-June 18.

On Tuesday, June 18 ODOT’s partners with Amtrak, the City of Oklahoma City and the Oklahoma City Chamber will gather to celebrate the Flyer. OKC Mayor David Holt will be in attendance along with some lawmakers.
