Summer time is here and coming up with new fun activities to do with your kids can be challenging, but luckily, Mad Science of Central Oklahoma has an idea.
Derick Brock, the chief mad scientist at Mad Science joined News 9 on the Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch to share a fun experiment that families can do at home.
Using a pitcher of hot water and a soda can, Mad Science demonstrated the connection between the temperature and the pressure of heat.
"If you want to do this at home, make sure you have a parent or responsible adult," Brock said.
Mad Science of Central Oklahoma is also hosting a series of Summer camps that invite kids to participate in more science experiments.
"We've got lots of places available still for our summer camp registrations up there. Everything from things like weather, for preschool to fifth grade," Brock said.
