A wreck in northwest Oklahoma City has resulted in the closure of a portion of an intersection in that part of the city, police say.

Oklahoma City Police said a semitruck was travelling into the intersection of North Portland Avenue and Northwest 56th Street when they crashed, damaging a power pole at the intersection.

OCPD said the semitruck driver tried to enter a parking lot in the area, but the top of his truck snagged a power line, pulling one pole down, and causing others to lean.

North Portland Avenue has been closed to vehicles, but Northwest 56th Street remains open.

There are no injuries, and OG&E is on the scene of the crash as well.
