All five U.S. House seats are up for grabs this election.

One incumbent is in quite the battle. Representative Tom Cole (R- Okla.) looks to win the Republican nomination against Paul Bondar.

Paul Bondar came into this primary race as a new name in the political arena.

This is his first bid for elected office of any kind. He's gained attention through his ad spending.

Federal Election Commission data shows Bondar has spent more than $5 million attempting to unseat incumbent Tom Cole.

Attack ads against Bondar have accused him of not living in Oklahoma. and having no connections to the state. Public records show Bondar first purchased land in the state in 2022.

Bondar has attacked Cole as a Washington insider willing to vote with Democrats on spending bills, including billions of dollars in aid to Ukraine.

When News 9 interviewed him last month, he said he plans on staying in Oklahoma no matter the outcome tonight.
