As the Korn Ferry Tour (think 'minor leagues' for the PGA Tour) returns to Norman for a second straight year, several golfers with ties to the Sooner State will be vying for a share of the $1 million purse.
The Compliance Solutions Championship begins on Thursday, June 20, and a winner will be crowned on Sunday, June 23.
The University of Oklahoma's Jimmie Austin Golf Club is hosting the event. Eight former Sooners will have "home course advantage", playing on the same greens and fairways where they built illustrious college careers. Please don't ask what I shot when the course allowed the media to give it a try last month. It wasn't pretty.
Max McGreevy and Quade Cummins are the top two Sooners on the tour right now, sitting in 6th and 7th, respectively, in the season point standings. Cummins will tee off on Hole 10 on Thursday at 7:11 a.m.

McGreevy is a few groups behind him, set to begin on the tenth tee at 8:17 a.m.
