Inmate Escapes Union City Corrections Facility In Canadian County

Authorities are searching for an inmate who escaped from a Union City correction facility on Sunday.

The Union City Police Department said Samuel Stevens, 26, escaped from the Union City Community Corrections Facility and ran southbound on North Main around 5:42 p.m.

Stevens is 6-foot-4, 235 pounds with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray shirt.

Police said it is unlikely he is still in the Union City area.
