Man Fatally Struck By Car In Oklahoma City

One person is dead after being hit and killed by a car Monday evening in northwest Oklahoma City, police say.

Oklahoma City Police said the incident happened at around 11:30 p.m. near North Meridian Avenue and Northwest 39th Street, although the driver and passenger of the car involved stayed at the scene to cooperate with investigators.

According to OCPD, the driver and passenger told officers the man who was struck was sitting on the curb, and then got up and walked in front of the car as it was moving.

OCPD have not identified anyone involved at this time.
