Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt shared on social media Wednesday that the Oklahoma Department Of Transportation will be replacing bridges on Interstate 35 over the Oklahoma River.
According to the post, Holt says that this will “establish better synergy with our Olympic paddlesport venue and our trail system.”
The post continued to say that OKC received a $17.4 Million raise to construct a pedestrian bridge with the project.
The estimated construction start date is January 2028, according to the post.
