1 Person Dead After Being Struck By Vehicle In SW Oklahoma City

One person is dead after being hit by a car Thursday morning in southwestern Oklahoma City, police say.

Oklahoma City Police said the victim was struck at around 4:30 a.m. along South Western Avenue near Southwest 44th Street.

OCPD said a bystander saw the victim on the ground near a bus stop in the area, and called police.

Officers on scene said this is possibly a hit-and-run, as no vehicle was at the scene when they arrived.

There is no information on the driver at this time.
