Police Load Injured Officer Into Squad Car After Being Involved In Shooting

Oklahoma City Police was on the scene of a man with a gun call in northwest Oklahoma City when one of their officers was struck and injured by gunfire.

OCPD officers loaded the injured officer into a squad car and rushed them to the nearest Level One trauma hospital.

Police can be heard over the radio saying there were shots fired and an officer hit.

They said they were taking the struck officer to the hospital.

The scene of the standoff is described as officers said a man had three kids and his wife in the home while he was armed with at least two weapons.
