If you're looking for a fun activity to celebrate the fourth of July, a concert called Red, White, and Boom is being held at Scissortail park on Wednesday evening.

The Oklahoma Philharmonic is conducting a free show for anyone who wants to come and enjoy the music and atmosphere on Wednesday night.

News 9's Jordan Ryan took the Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch to the event to see what all would be offered at the concert.

Alexander Mickelthwate, a maestro for the philharmonic, shared why this event will be a fun and inviting environment to celebrate the holiday.

"Well, it will be really exciting, there will be about 15,000-20,000 people. They can have a bottle of wine and blankets and it will just be very festive," Mickelthwate said.

The show will start at 8:30pm on Wednesday evening and admission to the event will be completely free.
