OSBI: Former Thackerville Officer Accused Of Stealing Weapon From Crime Scene

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation arrested a former Thackerville Police officer after a weapon was taken from a crime scene and not reported.

A former Thackerville Police officer accused of stealing a firearm from a crime scene has been arrested, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

OSBI said Erwin Parker responded to a death in Thackerville, and took a gun from the scene home with him and never reported it.

Parker was booked into the Love County Jail earlier this week on a larceny complaint.
