Victim In NW OKC Stabbing Has Been Identified

The victim in a northwest Oklahoma City stabbing has been identified according to police. Police say the victim is 39-year-old Allen Williams.

The stabbing happened Friday June 28, 2024, near Northwest 23rd Street and North MacArthur Boulevard, according to police. 

Investigators say the two men involved in the incident were fighting near the street when the suspect William Avila stabbed Williams to death, then fled on foot. Avila was later taken into custody and transported to a hospital. 

Police say upon his release from the hospital, Avila will be booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a murder complaint.
