Oklahoma City Man Arrested After Infant Death

One man has been arrested after a 10-month-old child was found unresponsive and later died on Monday in northwestern Oklahoma City, police say.

Oklahoma City Police said they responded to a residence at around 6:40 p.m. on Monday near Minnie Lane and Northwest 19th Street.

After arriving on scene, OCPD said officers found a child unresponsive who was transported to a nearby hospital.

OCPD said the child was pronounced dead at the hospital, and showed injuries consistent with homicide.

After an investigation, OCPD arrested the child's father, 22-year-old Marnin Relaey Lopez-Tello.

Lopez-Tello was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on Wednesday on a complaint of murder in the first degree by child abuse.
