Two of three women accused of exploiting nursing home residents on Snapchat are in court today.
Healthcare workers say they showed up at the Logan County Courthouse to support the victims.
"I wanted to vomit. A lot of us healthcare workers knew what was happening before the community knew," said Nyx, health aide.
The police report describes other videos of other residents being mistreated.
Nyx, who showed up today at the Logan County courthouse, says it's important that all healthcare workers join together to prevent this from happening again.
"You are a healthcare worker who serves the state, serves your people, is selfless, and is a servant. To take your position of power and abuse that is disgusting," said Nyx.
McKenzie Bolfa first appeared before the judge, who wanted to see her again in August.
Jade Williams, who's also accused in this case, asked the judge today to lower her bond, but that was denied.
Aubrey Granata, the third suspect in this case, is scheduled to appear in court on August 8th at 2 p.m.
