City Of Edmond Warns About Toxic Algae Found Near Lake Arcadia

The city of Edmond is warning residents about a type of algae near the face of the dam at Lake Arcadia.

"It's different from your normal lake algae," said Bill Belgey, Marketing and PR Manager for the City of Edmond. " Normal algae is grass-based, it's more green, more solid. This is like a film on top of the water."

This type of algae is toxic and can be deadly to pets.
