OU On-Campus Response to Israeli-Hamas War

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit has prompted new action at the Capitol on how Americans have responded to the Israeli-Hamas war.

College campuses have been focal points for protests related to the war.

News 9 obtained records from the University of Oklahoma revealing how the university measured the campus climate in the early months. A school leader stayed in touch with Jewish and Muslim students and sent bulletins to impacted students.

Saturday in a statement to the University of Oklahoma it's:

"Committed to building an enviorment that resprects and honors the free exchange of ideas and opinionsand the principles of frr speech and expression."

The university says its staff regularly checks in with students who are affected by current events.
