Family has identified the woman killed in a Norman hit-and-run Sunday as Lindsay Badger.
Her mother-in-law, Denise Badger, says her family is coming together to support Lindsay's husband and children, who survived the crash.
"In an instant, our lives changed. Someone's recklessness took away a part of our life," Badger said.
Badger’s son, Josh, and two grandchildren, Abby and Ethan, are still in the hospital.
“You never know when something like this could actually happen, you know, to your own family," Badger said.
Norman Police say 22-year-old Bradyn Brown sped through a stop sign at Rock Creek Road and Northwest 60th Ave, colliding with the Badger family's SUV.
Brown fled the scene of the accident, but officers later arrested him.

He has been charged with first-degree manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident.
"He needs to be held accountable to the maximum degree,” Badger said. "He wrecked our world when he wrecked into them."
Lindsay died at the scene of the accident, and her husband just came off a ventilator Tuesday morning.
Badger says her son had no idea what happened when he woke up.
"Heartbreak, absolute heartbreak," she said, describing the moment she told him the news. "He said, 'That's not fair. For someone to do that and take away the children's mom. It's just absolutely not fair.'"
13-year-old Abby and 10-year-old Ethan are both still in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
"It's just going to be a long journey. You can imagine, they've not only got a funeral, but they've got three more with hospital bills," Badger said.
She hopes to take some of that burden off her son with a GoFundMe.
"Just the little things. It's not even; I mean, you would think, you know, oh, that's nothing to someone else, but it means the world to us," she said.
Josh, Abby, and Ethan are all expected to recover, but their long road of healing has just begun.
